well right outside ascalon city of post there was a statue of i think dwana or one of those god people . it is located directly going toward the north wall. if kneel near the statue a spirit of somehing appears and wants u to give em money. u can gain morale and some suff from it, but u cant go to any places.

I tried to find this statue, but found only the statue of Lyssa near the destroyed thatre of Althea. And if i kneel down there nothing happens.
Can you please verify that this is the correct statue?
Which class was the char you used to do this?
Had your world the favor of the gods at that time?

I imagine it has to do with your class. Dwayna in Sardelac does nothing for me but Lissa outside of Ascalon gives me a morale boost and quick healing.

I am pretty sure it does have to do with your class. My Warrior Monk kneeled in front of Dwayna and I got similar choices to those above (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ghlight=dwayna). I also took my ranger/mesmer to Lyssa's shrine outside Ascalon City in post-Searing, kneeled and got similar options for my class from the face that appeared.

Some work some don't. It dosn't have anything to do with class that I know of. I've kneeld in front of Grenth and got him to give me a morale boost and i'm a Wa/Mo.. When you get to the temple of ages you can kneel in front of Balthazar and Grenth and do quests. Lyssa, Dwyana, and Melandru however do not offere anything as of yet :|

This was mentioned in another thread.

1) They are not class-dependant.

2) They only work if your country has the favor of the Gods.

3) They do not work in pre-searing or in towns--excluding the TotA quests.
